The Friendship Rose Schooner

The Friendship Rose has a rich connection with Bequia & the Grenadines, the wooden schooner built by hand on the beach in Friendship Bay to ferry cargo and people between the islands. Until the 1980s the beautiful wooden schooner crossed numerous times a day between St. Vincent & Bequia as the whole regular ferry; ferrying school children, working people, trading goods, and few tourists across the channel.

Now, you can enjoy relaxing day trips to Mustique or the Tobago Cays. With the authentic experience of a sailing on a wooden schooner sails hoisted high, the sea breeze against your skin island hopping from pearl to pearl.
