Hikes & Walks

Hike up to Bequia's highest point - Ma Peggy, and see Bequia from the clouds. You’ll get a 360 degree of Bequia, St. Vincent, Mustique, Baliceax, Isle De Quatre, Battowia, and the other neighboring islands on a clear day. Simply walk from the hotel to La Pompe and ask one of the many friendly locals about the trail head.

Nestled along an old coconut plantation, trek down to Hope Beach on Bequia’s Atlantic coast for a wonderful breeze and amazing views of Mustique, Baliceux, and Battowia. Swimming is strongly ill-advised. There are a few rip currents and hidden rocks amongst the shallows making swimming here very risky on a rough day. The hike is only about 10-15 minutes downhill from the road and is best when dry.

For the best views of St. Vincent hike up Spring Estate to Spring Top. The public park has the best views of St. Vincent on a clear day and is pleasantly breezy. Take a pair of binoculars and see all the boats passing through the channel. You may see a few whales in the distance! There are a few tables and chairs at the view point so a picnic up there is a must!

Cinnamon Garden and Bequia Head are great trails as well. Ask your taxi driver where the trail starts or call Bushman Brent for a guided tour!
