Barbados to Bequia Transit Guide

  • After landing in Barbados, follow signs to ‘Connecting Flights’.

  • A representative is usually stood in front of the immigration hall with a personalised sign. Present yourself, and they’ll direct you to check-in

  • You’ll be asked for the paper receipts and a description of your luggage to assist handlers in transferring your bags to the Bequia flight

  • Proceed through security and go directly to Gate 9 (in a separate building) in preparation for boarding, unless advised otherwise

Flight Details

  • Shared charter flights are 18-seat Twin Otters.

  • Upon boarding, larger carry-ons may be stored in the hold or under seats at the rear.

  • On arrival in Bequia, ensure you collect all your carry-on items

Travel Tips

  • Label and add brightly coloured ribbons to your luggage to assist the ground handlers in identification

  • Take a photo of your luggage on your phone and keep hold of your luggage receipts

  • Pack essentials in your carry-on (medication, sundry items swimwear, flip-flops, etc.) in case your luggage is delayed to the next day
